The second workshop of the Provenance Research Training Program was held March 10-15, 2013 in Zagreb, Croatia under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia and co-hosted by the Museum Documentation Center and the Croatian State Archives, along with the Jasenovac Memorial Area and Documenta-Center for Dealing with the Past.

Last Flight of Peter Ginz

To mark the sad 70th anniversary from the establishment of Ghetto Terezin, the European Shoah Legacy Institute has teamed with the public benefit organization Opona and the Jewish Museum in Prague to organize a premiere screening in the Czech Republic of a new American documentary called the Last Flight of Peter Ginz, which tells the story of Peter Ginz, an exceptionally talented child artist who wrote poems and novels and drew and painted beautiful pictures, and following his incarceration in the Ghetto Terezin, lead and edited an underground youth magazine called Vedem.

International Holocaust Memorial Day Poster Competition Project

This international project is conducted jointly by Yad Vashem (Israel), European Shoah Legacy Institute (Czech Republic) and Memorial de la Shoah (France), within the framework of the Task Force for International Cooperation on Holocaust Education, Remembrance, and Research (ITF). It is part of an effort to develop strategies to induce substance, meaning and educational value to Holocaust commemoration.
