New director of ESLI Ms. Tereza Knapová has been appointed as of February 1, 2013

The Administrative Board of the European Shoah Legacy Institute (ESLI) wishes to notify its partners, cooperating institutions as well as the public in general, that Mr. Jaroslav Sonka, who has been the director of ESLI until now, has left from his function as of January 31, 2013. His duties will be temporarily assumed by his deputy, Ms. Tereza Knapová, who has been appointed the Institute’s Director ad Interim by the Administrative Board of ESLI as of February 1, 2013.

Holocaust survivors note progress at November’s Immovable Property Review Conference

3.12.2012 (Forum 2000 Foundation) Prague -- A number of Holocaust survivors are pointing to the important steps taken at the November 26-28 Immovable Property Review Conference in Prague, including the push to pass knowledge about the Nazi injustices on to younger generations and continued efforts to spread the best practices for implementing just and effective Holocaust restitution policies.
